Some African women travel up to 12 hours to the nearest hammer mill to grind their families’ maize into flour. To reduce these arduous trips and free up time for other essential activities, ADRA is providing rural communities with their own mills. These mills also generate income to support community initiatives for orphans and female-headed families.
