ADRA Appeal

What is the ADRA Appeal?

The ADRA Appeal is ADRA Australia’s annual nation-wide doorknock campaign which raises funds for ADRA’s life-changing work in Australia and overseas.

The ADRA Appeal supports ADRA's development and emergency response activities across Australia and around the world. For he lastest on ADRA's work visit our News Room.

All collectors for the ADRA Appeal are volunteers. Additionally, 90% of donations made to the appeal go directly to ADRA projects.

ADRA Australia's is signatory to the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) Code of Conduct which represents the active commitment of overseas aid agencies or Non Government Development Organisations (NGDOs) to conduct their activities with integrity and accountability.

How do I know a collector is authorised?

An authorised ADRA Volunteer Collector is required to wear an ADRA Appeal badge and provide an official ADRA Appeal receipt bearing ADRA Australia's business number.

 

How do I donate to the ADRA Appeal?

You can donate to the ADRA Appeal by making a donation to an ADRA Appeal volunteer when they knock on your door. Alternatively you can make an online donation.

How do I volunteer for the ADRA Appeal?

To find out how you can volunteer, contact your local Seventh-day Adventist Church’s ADRA Appeal coordinator.

In just a few short hours, you may raise enough money to support projects such as accommodation for a woman and her children in an ADRA crisis refuge or to support health and education programs in the Pacific, Asia or Africa.
