range of resources to assist local ADRA Appeal Coordinators for churches, schools and Pathfinder groups in participating in the ADRA Appeal.

The new ADRA Appeal brochure
assists volunteer collectors in informing community members about what
ADRA does with their donation as well as providing information about
ADRA's work. It also shows what different donations can do for someone
in need by giving real-life examples of how people's lives in Australia
and overseas have been changed through the work of ADRA. |

can be used to help prepare for, and run, the ADRA Appeal. Pages from this resource
can be photocopied and shared with church members and volunteer
collectors—helping to equip them for the ADRA Appeal. This resource

A region-specific news release can be used to
promote the ADRA Appeal locally through local media such as local
newspapers and community radio stations. This region-specific news
release can be accessed from the Director of ADRA Services at a
local Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. |

The plans for the 2011 ADRA Appeal media advertising include a 30-second TV and radio advertisement featuring Brett Lee. You can download the ADRA Appeal TV advertisements and use them to promote the ADRA Appeal within your church, school or Pathfinder group.
