ADRA is proud to support Face Up To Poverty, an online photo petition initiative of Make Poverty History and Micah Challenge, of which ADRA is an endorsing body. Face Up To Poverty aims to get 0.7% of the Australian population (145,000 people) to speak out for the poor by signing an online photo petition that will be launched on 07:07:07, the halfway mark towards the Millennium Development Goals deadline of halving global poverty by 2015. Face Up To Poverty is a great way to show support for the Make Poverty History campaign and become actively engaged in making a difference in the world. The online photo petition is to encourage government to Face Up To Poverty. |

Make Poverty History is hoping to mark the launch of Face Up To Poverty by projecting photos of faces onto Sydney icons during the week of 07:07:07.
To take part in the Face Up To Poverty campaign simply take a photo of yourself that shows the "Make Poverty History" slogan and your postcode (so photos can be sorted into electorates). Then burn your photo onto a disc and send to:
