Overseas Volunteering for Individuals
Are you interested in a fulfilling volunteer role with one of ADRA Australia's overseas partners? |
|
Volunteering can play an effective role in helping ADRA fulfill its humanitarian mission, and in creating a deeper understanding of development and humanitarian work among ADRA supporters.
Prior to venturing into volunteer work, however, it is important to consider the needs of the beneficiaries to ensure that the beneficiary community, the recipient organisation, as well as the volunteer, mutually benefit.
As such, ADRA Australia only occasionally places volunteers in overseas ADRA partner offices in response to the specific requests identified by ADRA country partners. The volunteer placements are for volunteers over the age of 18 and for those with the skill set that matches the requirements identified by the ADRA country partner.
If you are interested in learning more about ADRA Australia's Volunteering Opportunities available to individuals, download the Overseas Volunteer Opportunities for Individuals: Information Sheet. If you have read the information sheet and you would like to further explore volunteer opportunities with ADRA Australia please submit a copy of your CV and a completed expression of interest to ADRA Australia.
