New Project in Indonesia

At the moment we have two projects in Indonesia, in the areas of water and health, which are in the crucial 'design stage'. This means we are planning and preparing to implement these new projects, and we are asking for God's guidance as we look to the proposed communities, their needs and how we can best support them through these new projects.

Flooding - Fiji and North New South Wales

We ask that God's protection be with those whose lives were touched by the devastating floods which swept through Fiji earlier this year. We also pray for those affected by floods closer to home, in Queensland and in New South Wales. We ask that God's peace be with them as they rebuild their homes and lives. We say a prayer of thanks for the ADRA staff and volunteers who responded these disasters. We thank them for their tireless efforts in assisting others through these difficult times. ADRA Connections

We'd like to thank God for his guidance in the set-up of this mission-based ADRA ministry. We'd also like to offer thanks that so many people are giving of themselves to serve others. Pray for the mission trips which are leaving soon. Pray their trip preparation goes smoothly and that their hearts be willing and excited to be Jesus' hands and feet all around the world. New Projects - Timor Leste and Nepal

Praise God for two new projects beginning in Timor Leste (East Timor) and Nepal. In Timor Leste we are improving access to clean drinking water and providing hygiene education for women and children. In Nepal, ADRA will provide vocational training to women's groups; ensuring they can provide an income and a future for their families. We ask you keep these new projects in your prayers - pray for staff who are imparting vital knowledge and pray for those who may come into contact with ADRA.

Macquarie Fields Youth Resilience Project

Let's give thanks for the start of something new in Australia - our youth resiliency project in Macquarie Fields, NSW! We are so grateful to have the opportunity to work with youth who are in need of friendship and guidance. We also pray a prayer of supplication - we ask that as we begin this project, God will place His hand over it, and will direct those in need to this place of support and encouragement. We also pray for the staff and volunteers who manage this project - give them strength, wisdom and guidance as they touch the lives of others.
