Support your church to make a difference.

What is an ADRA Champion?

An ADRA Champion is a passionate volunteer who inspires and mobilises their local church to support ADRA’s purpose of serving humanity so all may live as God intended. By promoting ADRA’s annual offerings and sharing stories of impact, you can help connect your church with life-changing opportunities to bring justice, compassion, and love to vulnerable communities in Australia and around the world.

What you’ll do…

As an ADRA Champion, you’ll get full support and resources from ADRA throughout the year.

– Use ready-made resources like videos, posters, and announcements
– Promote two ADRA offerings each year in February and October
– Keep your church updated with stories and impact reports
– Work with your AV team and treasurer to coordinate offerings
– Delegate tasks if public speaking isn’t your thing

Why become an ADRA Champion?

You don’t need any special skills or experience to make a meaningful difference. As an ADRA Champion, you’ll be supported every step of the way. Whether you’re promoting the offerings during the service, sharing updates in the church newsletter, or simply encouraging others to get involved, your contribution matters.

– Simple to do: Clear instructions and ready-to-use resources are provided
– No public speaking required: You can ask someone else to present if you prefer
– Full support: You’ll have help from ADRA when you need it
– Flexible commitment: Just a few key moments during the year can make a big impact
– Stay connected: Share real stories of how your church’s support is changing lives
