ADRA Community Care Centre – Bendigo Australia
Donate NowAustralia
The Bendigo ADRA Community Care Centre is run by volunteers from the local Adventist church and the community. We work in partnership with the council’s emergency relief network to provide timely food provisions for families and individuals in crisis. This service caters for food intolerances, cultural preferences, access difficulties and specific needs with some flexibility to suit all client’s circumstances.
ADRA’s well-being to well-giving focus promotes a healthy lifestyle. Our clients state that they enjoy an ADRA food parcel and/or meal as the food is fresh, caters for intolerances, is nutrient dense and resembles a home cooked meal.

Stories
The ADRA Community Care Centre in Bendigo received thanks from the Bendigo Council for their emergency pack deliveries.
They also received a word of thanks from a gentleman they have been helping: “Thank you for your quick response to our urgent request for items during this lockdown self-isolation period. Your team has supplied us with the urgent and essential foods and items that has now enabled us not to commute into Greater Bendigo to stock the household with these essential items. On behalf of my family and I, we appreciate all that you are doing for us, and will advise the Premier and residing honourable ministers of such an event completed by ADRA Bendigo, without tardiness.”
This gentleman is disabled and finds it hard to commute to the stores at the best of times. ADRA was able to deliver a range of items including toiletries and cleaning products as well as fresh water, and given his reliance on river water this was particularly essential as the river is dirty from recent rains.
