Townsville Food Pantry Australia
Donate NowAustralia
Started in 2015 to address an identified need in the community, the Townsville Food Pantry provides a valuable service to people struggling to make ends meet. The weekly food assistance is a real life saver to many families and individuals whose varying circumstances have seen their incomes drastically reduced. This initiative is growing into more of a community hub with additional services coming on line to complement the food pantry side of things. Our friendly volunteers take the time to chat and minister to those who pass through every Friday morning, purposed to make a difference in their lives here in the Townsville community. Donations and volunteers welcome.

Stories
Adam* recently lost his job, and when all of the bills arrived at the same time, he didn’t know what to do. If it was just himself he had to worry about, that would have been ok, but he didn’t want his burdens to affect his child. He heard about the ADRA Food Pantry and rang up to see if he could find any kind of assistance to help him through. When ADRA delivered a food parcel, he was so thankful that he didn’t have to worry about food for himself and his child for a few days until he could sort something out. “I want to thank ADRA for helping me out with food for me and my kid!”
