A pop-up op shop is run on the premises which not only helps fund the food hampers but also provides the community with affordable household items, sanitary items and other necessary supplies.
The program is completely volunteer-run.

A young mother contacted ADRA Pine Rivers, asking for food assistance.
She and her daughter had been eating the same foods for two weeks, as she couldn’t afford anything else, and urgently wanted something different and fresh to give to her child.
ADRA Pine Rivers volunteers arranged for her to receive a parcel, and later on we received a heart-warming message, stating that her daughter had finally enjoyed something fresh and healthy, after so long.
