Norn wanted the best for her children. But with a limited diet and poor sanitation, her family struggled with their health.
“My children got sick a lot,” says Norn. “They always had fever, diarrhoea, and vomiting.”
Through ADRA’s project in Cambodia, Norn’s family received a water filter, and they learned the importance of hand washing. Norn also learned how to grow vegetables and raise poultry.
“I started adding the vegetables I grow to our porridge. My children have gained weight.”
Norn also sells her vegetables and poultry and for the first time, she can save money.
“I have big dreams for my family’s future.”
