“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20

How often have you heard the words of Matthew 18:20 used to open a church service, a bible study, a camp meeting, or other spiritual events?

It is undoubtedly powerful to realise that as we meet with fellow believers, Jesus promises to be there with us.

But how often have you heard those same words said as you serve at your local community meals program, take part in a fundraiser, or simply gather friends to support someone in need?

‘For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.’

What an amazing picture! As you serve, Jesus is right there, serving alongside you. Talk about working in partnership with God!

In your worship and your service may you truly understand and experience the presence of God.

Lord, thank You for being with me as I serve others today.
